Jewell: We Should Have Been Out of Sight Sat 24th Mar 2012 17:51
Boss Paul Jewell felt his side should have been “out of sight” at half-time as Watford came from behind to beat the Blues 2-1 at Vicarage Road. Town’s winless run against the Hornets stretched to 15 games and back to 2004 with their last win on Watford territory having come a year prior to that.

Michael Chopra’s goal in the 54th minute saw the Blues to a 1-0 victory over Burnley, their fifth home win in a row. After an understated first half, Town dominated the second and in the end should have won more comfortably, despite having Grant Leadbitter red-carded in the closing moments.
